Literature And Teaching Ministries (LATM) is an outgrowth of the ministry of College Press Publishing Company of Joplin, Missouri. Literature And Teaching Ministries was established as ministry for the purposes of helping fund and print quality Christian books in the various languages of the countries where we have missionaries and national churches. LATM has helped publish nearly 1200 projects in over 80 languages for a total of over 2.3 million books.

Started by Don Ott and Reggie Thomas, a partial space in a building complex in Havana, was purchased in 2019 for the purpose of having a physical location to train ministers. After purchase, the space was renovated and remolded. Don has retired, and the space is currently being used for worship services and bible studies, but is too small and needs expansion. There is the potential to purchase the adjacent space and combine them to obtain the area needed for expansion. The building is legally under the name of The Cuban Bible Insitute with 3 ministers, Euosebel, Venta, and Aleiosis listed as directors. There are living quarters upstairs in the building for traveling ministers. Minster training is held 4 times per year March, June, September and December and runs Monday-Thursday. Plans are to utilize this building for academic biblical history as well as for bi-vocational training. Don’s curriculum originally included 17 lessons.
